When I was young, I was introduced to nail art by the Klutz books for kids. It was a book filled with simple designs and animal nail art. For the longest time, the only nail art that was ever on my nails was the "fish bowl" design. I never wanted to do anything but that.
When I was in middle school and high school I gave up nail polish and nail art due to nail biting, marching and concert band, and sports. I played the clarinet for marching and concert band and it was difficult to play properly with long nails. In high school I continued with band, but also started joining sports teams. I participated in lacrosse, tennis, and cheerleading. For those of you who play or are familiar with lacrosse, you know it can be very rough on your hands if you get hit with a stick by accident.
During my senior year of high school I started to get back into the swing of things with nail art and started experimenting more and more with different designs. Then shortly after graduating (Go Class of 2011!) I began to post photos of my nails on Tumblr and received an overwhelming response from people loving my nails and asking to see more.
After that, I decided to start a YouTube channel so I could teach people how to do some of the designs that they were interested in! My YouTube channel has been very successful so far and I've been working very hard to keep that success going. I have been recognized by a few major companies and have been lucky enough to be featured in multiple magazines.
Thank you so much for stopping by and I really hope you enjoy what I have to share with you.
